Black farmers and Native Americans are STILL waiting for settlements from the United States Department of Agriculture. According to an article by The Grio, Black farmers are still waiting for their overdue compensation from the 1989 "Pigford" case which found that Black farmers were severely discriminated against for agricultural loans. Native Americans sued for royalties from casinos on their lands. #p2 #ind2
